Meet the Founder
Built by a woman
who has built
everything else.
Monica Espinosa is not a typical remodeling contractor. She is a licensed civil engineer with over 20 years of hands-on experience across the full spectrum of construction — from a family's first bathroom renovation to the structural engineering oversight of a 50-story residential tower.
Born in Colombia and shaped by two decades of delivering complex projects across Latin America and the United States, Monica brings a level of technical rigor to residential remodeling that the industry rarely sees. She reads load calculations the way others read blueprints, and she reads blueprints the way others read menus — fluently, instantly, and with an eye for what others miss.
After years advising on large-scale commercial and residential developments, Monica turned her focus to what she believes is the most personal form of construction: the home. She founded Invivant in Orlando to create a firm where engineering discipline meets design soul — and where women, who make the majority of home improvement decisions, finally have a contractor who truly speaks their language.

"I have overseen concrete pours on skyscrapers and I have retiled a grandmother's bathroom with my own hands. Both matter equally. Both demand the same respect for the craft."
